About Kingdom Builder Group
Kingdom Builder Group (KBG) was officially founded in 2019, but our legacy began much earlier in the bustling construction landscapes of the greater Chicagoland area. In the mid-'90s, our co-founder, Patrick Smythe, recognized the potential of modular technology to revolutionize housing. As young observers, co-founders Kyle and Robert were inspired by their father's vision, which initially aimed to provide affordable homes for underserved communities.
Fast forward to two decades later, the trio united with a renewed focus. The rising demand for versatile housing solutions, coupled with the challenges of urban sprawl and housing affordability, guided our pivot. We transitioned from traditional housing models to emphasize Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), action homes, and single-family residences.
In 2021, our partnership with BOXABL, a pioneering modular housing company from North Las Vegas, marked a significant milestone. This collaboration enabled us to expand our offerings, blending the efficiency of modular construction with the versatility of ADUs and the community spirit of living developments.
